Productivity MAC: Alfred Manage windows hammerspoon
If you spend a lot of time working with the computer often we do not pay attention to improving the workflow of our tasks.
Alfred 2 helps you be more productive considerably since you can assign keyboard shortcuts to the most mundane tasks.
In this video we will see how we can change the size of the windows of the programs we use quickly and productively.
If you use a large screen you might want to put half of the screen a window left and right again, I make this work many times a day. Manually to make you lose a lot of time adjusting the window in half while Alfred 2 together with hammerspoon is to simply use the keyboard shortcut that you have assigned.
Alfred 2 is free but many of the features of Alfred are only available in the paid version (17libras)
Alfred 2 Once installed you have to install specific workflow to the action you need. In the case of this tutorial Hammerspoon workflow.
You you can download it here:
http://www.packal.org/workflow/hammer...
Once done you can already use it, some of the orders are as follows:
hs: install Configure Hammerspoon with the configuration file that this workflow needs. The original is backed up into the users home directory as hs.orig.
hs: lefthalf This moves the current window to the left half of the screen.
hs: righthalf This moves the current window to the right half of the screen.
hs: setgrid This requires you to put the x, y for a starting position in a 3x3 matrix for the current window. Then you give the width and height. Therefore, to move the current window to the upper left most block in a 3x3 matric, you would do "hs:setgrid 0, 0, 1, 1". There is also a hotkey set to this value as an example.
And many more that you can discover if you read the documentation.
I hope the video will be useful;)
regards
Oscar
